TLC for Kids will be offering summer programs for our students again this year. This will be an intensive reading and math enrichment program for students aged 4 - 7 years old. We will also be offering other summer programs for Japanese/English as a second language students.
Summer Program Schedule:
First Session: June 4 to June 29
Second Session: July 2 to July 27
Third Session: July 30 to August 17 (3 week session)
Hours: M-F 8:30 to 12:00
Tution:
$1200 (4-week session/Discount available for TLC students)

Pre-K and K Reading & Math (4-5 years old)
 Reading
This class will focus primarily on phonemic awareness and mastery of reading the basic short vowel word families. Vocabulary and comprehension will also be among the main aspects of reading that will be focused on. This program will accustom your child to age appropriate reading skills using our music and phonics based system. |

Math & Problem Solving
Students will be introduced to math basics using a combination of music, activities, and educational games. Students will learn about shapes, numbers, counting strategies, and other basic math fundamentals. |

Early Elementary Reading & Math (6-7 years old)
Reading Enrichment
The 6-7 year old reading classes will dive deeper into reading by examining long vowels, digraphs, and multiple sounds. Using our methods and exercises, students will also strengthen their spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension. |

Math & Problem Solving
Within this class, students will learn about addition, subtraction, counting methods, and problem solving. Students will enjoy many different games, activities, music, and exercises all designed to improve their math knowledge. |

Advanced Elementary Reading and Math (8-10 years old)
Reading Enrichment
This class will focus on reading fluency, vocabulary, and most importantly comprehension. There will be an abundance of books, lessons, activities, and games all designed to improve your child's growing reading abilities. |

Math & Problem Solving
Advanced addition and subtraction, multiplication, and division will be the primary focus for this class. Problem solving will also be one of the main points. With the use of drills, activities, and games, your child will have many tools available to help better their math skills.

Japanese as Second Language (Beginner & Intermediate)
Learn Hiragana, Katakana and more!
Our Japanese as a second language (JSL) class will strive to teach English speaking students basic Hiragana and Katakana. Students will have all of our proven JSL materials, music, drills, and practice sheets to help teach them about the Japanese language. |

English as Second Language (Beginner & Intermediate)
For children who's first language is NOT English
English as a second language (ESL) will be an intensive course designed to help foreign speakers to learn to read and speak the English language. We will use our extensive flash card and activity system to prepare students for the challenges of learning to speak English. |
