Established over 25 years ago by renowned educator Makoto Shichida, Ph.D., the methods and teachings behind TLC for Kids are practiced at over 500 schools throughout Japan and across Asia. 

Dr. Shichida has published over 70 books on early childhood education and development, has won numerous accolades for his research and work, and is widely revered for his accomplishments in and impact on education.
